100 rounds of 124 grain ball and 50 of 115 grain. The brace itself is comfortable to use and allows for rapid double taps and longer strings of fire accurately. I can still use the iron sights on the pistol though. This is my first time trying a setup like this and I'll have to play around with it some. I got the windage right on but I sighted it at 10 yards and I have to aim 6-7 inches high to hit where I want. The Vortex Venom is a good sight but since it sits so high above the bore I ran out of elevation adjustment. Not sure if that can be fixed or if it's even worth it. I backed it off to proper alignment and used the Loc-tite but as soon as the barrel got hot the comp came loose. When fully tightened it is almost 180 degrees upside down.

I can't get it to index on the barrel properly. The comp comes with a tube of red Loc-tite. This was recommended by Flux and the comp itself is well made. I ended up putting a compensator on the barrel from Springer Precision. It functioned flawlessly, which I expected, but I did have a couple things to address. Drop your fire control unit into the SBR stock version or pistol brace version. So I finally got some range time with the MP17 brace this past weekend. I'll try to post pics when I get it built but range reports will have to wait until I can get to an open one. I'm going to be buying a suppressor for it soon. I'm setting it up as a PDW for the house. I will be mounting my P320 TACOPS Carry model in the brace. I have a Vortex Venom sight and a Streamlight TLR-1HL for it. The FD Style MP17 is available in stock-equipped SBR and Pistol Brace versions, it is a chassis where the P320/M17/M18 can be installed, accepting the Fire Control Unit and slide assembly from P320 variants with the compatible variants being the VFC SIG M17/18. I plan to build mine tomorrow but I have no idea when I'll be able to test fire it. They had a design SNAFU since they released the first MP17s just before Sig released the Legion and X5 P320s so Flux had to do a minor redesign since the fire control groups are just slightly different and the first braces wouldn't fit the new FCGs. They were really good about getting back to me when I asked for updates though. Flux Defense has been making Glock braces for a while now but they are a small company and I think they got overwhelmed with demand for the MP17. Only five months for delivery! (sarcasm) I should have dropped a form 4 at the same time and I'd be almost ready to pick it up. I ordered a Flux MP17 brace on Thanksgiving Day and it will be arriving tomorrow.
